I love Teresa Palmer and Miranda Otto; they are tremendous actresses. But I had high expectations for this series thinking it was going to be this intense thriller-type fast moving cult show. It was 100% the complete opposite; in face I stopped watching it at episode 5 because it got so BORING, REDUNDANT, NO DIRECTION AND THE PLOT WAS ALL OVER THE PLACE. It was one of the slowest moving series I’ve come across so I was surprised especially with such a strong cast. The main girl that plays younger Amy was amazing at portraying her role as young Freya and she should win an award for her outstanding performance. But overall as far as the series goes, it lacked depth and was all over the place taking the viewer all over the place and not able to keep up with what the actual point was to the show! It was terrible, but that’s just my opinion. I mean everyone has different taste so they may enjoy it but I thought it was awful. I would rate it 5/10 stars. I’m surprised especially with Teresa Palmer in it.
