Very deep, dark and sad, but extremely good and Marc Ruffalo was unbelievably astounding in his role for this film. It is very moving, and also scary to believe that such a powerful chemical company carelessly just discarded chemical waste wherever they could possibly dump it; landfills, the water such as creeks that animals drink out of, including well water and is made in Teflon pans. They knew they were poisoning people and animals and didn’t give a crap as long as they remained rich, and that they were! So many animals died, people died of cancer and it was linked to 6 major diseases. Marc Ruffalo plays a lawyer who fights for this famer who knows that his farm animals all died from poison in the water and landfills near his home/farm. So Marc fought for him and against the chemical company. It took about 15 years before this chemical company settled and paid $670 million dollars and now the whole world knows they are dangerous. Luckily because of this lawyer, these chemicals that are not monitored are being tested every day. It said at the end that every living creature on this earth has this chemical in their system and 99% of humans have this chemical in their blood as well. No wonder why people die of cancer! It’s these corrupt chemical companies that dump all this poison and think they can get away with it, but that came to a stop in 2015 thanks to this lawyer. Deep, heavy movie, but very good and Marc Ruffalo should win an award for the role he played. His acting was astounding!
