Povestea, pe scurt a filmului - In Engleza - Finney Shaw, a shy but clever 13-year-old boy, is abducted by a sadistic killer and trapped in a soundproof basement where screaming is of little use. When a disconnected phone on the wall begins to ring, Finney discovers that he can hear the voices of the killer’s previous victims. And they are dead set on making sure that what happened to them doesn’t happen to Finney.

Bunicel, merita vazut. E mai mult suspans asa
I had high hopes for this movie and was so excited to see it! I really thought it was going to be an amazing and truly scary horror movie. Unfortunately, it was dull, slow moving, boring, not scary AT ALL, and the only decent part of the movie was the very end when Finn escapes and kills the psycho in the mask that kidnapped him. The kid Finn just sits in a room all day (day after day) and there’s a black phone which is supposed to be not working, but yet it only rings for Finn. When Finn answers it is always a different boy’s spirit talking to him and trying to help him escape. The last kid was finally the one that helped Finn escape by the help from ghosts of all these different boys. The psycho that kidnaps Finn doesn’t even do anything to him escape always wears a creepy mask so he can’t be identified, and he enjoys them because he is twisted. Ethan Hawke played the role very well, but it was just a very boring film and wasn’t scaring which was a HUGE DISAPPOINMENT.
