Overall, after watching this series, I found it to be slow moving and a bit on the boring side. I know the genre of this series was mainly a drama, but I would have expected more out of the whole thing. The whole movie it was just the daughter Andy going from place to place and person to person to find out more about her mother’s life, because it was all a lie. But, I thought maybe her mom was in a terrorist group, or she was held captive and was abused or something. When you see the full story, it’s not very eventful. It’s based on one main thing, and I just think they could have had a little more suspense in this show. The only really interesting part was episode one at the restaurant. The rest of it was just very dull and moved at a snail’s pace. The cast was ok, nothing great. Toni Collette has been in several movies/shows that I really enjoyed, but I’ve always seen her in other things that I didn’t care for. I would give it 2 stars out of 5, but that’s just my opinion. Other people seem to have enjoyed it according to the ratings on here for the people that did watch it.
